(ages 8-13)

8 year olds must have prior rec class experience at EWS. 

Students will learn how music conveys character and emotion, how movement supports storytelling, and how to “act” a song while using their voice effectively to engage an audience. In the second semester, they will focus on learning music for the Sr. Company musical (to be announced this Mother’s Day).

 

This class will be featured in our Sr. Company mainstage musical

at Matthews' Fullwood Theatre in spring 2027.

Our recreation classes have reached their capacity for the fall season, and we are not taking any more registrants. Please check back in the winter for Kids on Broadway, and in the Summer for Jr. Co Prep.
