Charlotte’s Premier Musical Theatre Conservatory for Homeschooled Youth

(ages 8-13)

8 year olds must have prior rec class experience at EWS. 

Students will learn how music conveys character and emotion, how movement supports storytelling, and how to “act” a song while using their voice effectively to engage an audience. In the second semester, they will focus on learning music for the Sr. Company musical (to be announced this Mother’s Day).

 

This class will be featured in our Sr. Company mainstage musical

at CPCC's Parr Theatre in spring 2027.

$75 Costume Fee due @ Registration

*CPCC has not yet confirmed the 2027 performance dates, which may fall in late April

or on Mother’s Day weekend.  As a result, second semester start and end dates are

still to be determined.  We expect to have this information finalized by late July.

Late 2nd semester, Prep students will be invited to attend two Sr. Company Thursday

rehearsals from 10-1:30pm at Havilah (dates TBD).

​

Tech week at CPCC’s Parr Building typically includes rehearsals Tuesday,

Wednesday, Thursday dress rehearsal (5:00–9:00), with performances on

Friday at 7:30 pm and matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 3:00 pm
